Marima operates as a digital marketplace and intermediary platform that connects users with third-party vendors.
Marima:

Does not own or operate listed properties, hotels, or tours unless explicitly stated

Is not a party to contracts formed between users and vendors

Does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of listed services
Any agreement for goods or services is made directly between the user and the vendor.
4. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:

Be at least 18 years old

Have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements

Provide accurate and complete information when required
Marima reserves the right to restrict access to any user who does not meet these requirements.
5. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information

You are responsible for all activity under your account
Marima may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Vendor Accounts & Responsibilities
Vendors agree to:

Provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date listings

Set clear pricing, availability, and terms

Honor confirmed bookings and transactions

Comply with all applicable Kenyan laws and regulations

Maintain professional conduct with users
Marima reserves the right to review, approve, suspend, or remove vendor accounts or listings at its discretion.
7. Listings & Content

Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings

Photos, descriptions, and pricing must reflect actual offerings
-
Misleading or fraudulent listings are prohibited
Marima may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
8. Bookings, Transactions & Payments

All bookings and transactions are subject to availability and vendor confirmation

Prices are set by vendors and shown before confirmation
-
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers
-
Marima does not store sensitive payment information
Marima is not responsible for disputes arising from completed transactions.
9. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by vendors

Users must review applicable policies before confirming a booking
-
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method
-
Marima facilitates communication but does not override vendor policies
10. Subscriptions & Fees (Vendors)

Certain vendor services may require a monthly or periodic subscription

Fees are disclosed before activation

Failure to pay may result in service suspension

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable unless stated otherwise
11. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:

Use the Platform for unlawful purposes

Post false, misleading, or harmful content

Attempt to bypass platform fees or systems

Interfere with platform security or functionality

Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
Violation may result in suspension or permanent account termination.
12. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, logos, and software are owned by Marima or its licensors

Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit platform content without permission

Vendors grant Marima a non-exclusive license to display their content for platform operations
13. Privacy & Data Protection
Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Marima collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws in Kenya.
14. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Marima makes no warranties regarding:

Availability of services

Accuracy of listings

Quality of vendor services

Continuous or error-free operation
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Marima shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Marima is not liable for acts, omissions, or services of vendors

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to Marima, if any, for the specific service
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Marima from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

17. Suspension & Termination
Marima may suspend or terminate access:
